TONGI, GAZIPUR, BANGLADESH, TONGI, GAZIPUR, DHAKA, BANGLADESH - 2017/01/15: Devotees take part in the Akheri Munajat or final prayer at Tongi railway station during the Bishwa Ijtema. Thousands of devotees do not get accommodation at the main venue of Ijtema, but they gather in nearby areas outside the main set up. The Bishwa Ijtema or World Congregation is an annual Tablighi Jamaat Islamic congregation held in Tongi by the Turag River. The event has transformed into an important and annual religious festival. Bangladesh is a moderate Muslim (over 86 percent population are Muslims) country in South Asia.
